Investigation Of Maize Production Model to Achieve Self-Sufficiency Using System Dynamics Approach

Maize production is very beneficial for the People/Society, industrial needs, and animal feeds. Based on that reason, this paper investigates the variables related to increasing maize production, and it is hoped that maize self-sufficiency can be realized. This paper includes four scenarios, namely: superior seed hybrid, seed treatment, extensification, and combine all scenarios. The model's final result shows that the combination of all scenarios and the superior seed hybrid can increase maize production and achieve self-sufficiency in maize.
