Innovative Technologies for the Creation of a New Sustainable, Environmentally Neutral Energy Production in Ukraine

In Ukraine, there are currently contradictions between the growing demand for energy resources, limited reserves of traditional fuels and the constantly rising prices of them. At the same time, the state has a significant raw material potential for the development of renewable energy in the form of biomass, wind and solar energy. This paper shows the possibility for large-scale energy production from renewable sources, both for domestic use and for export to other countries. Thus, the use of innovative technologies in renewable energy production can contribute to the creation of a new sustainable, environmentally neutral model of Ukraine's economy. The innovative technologies - biomass torrefication, processing the agricultural waste into biogas, production of green hydrogen - can contribute to the creation of a new sustainable energy production model in Ukraine. However, to achieve these goals it is important to create a new infrastructure that will reduce costs within the supply chain of renewable raw materials in the long run and expand the possibilities of their different uses.
