Generation And Utilization Of Electricity Using Footsteps As A Source Of Energy

One of the basic needs of today's life is electric power. A large amount of electrical power is needed for various maneuvers. Producing electricity in a conventional method impacts the environment. So, by using non-conventional method to produce electricity by utilizing the waste energy generated during pressure applied while walking through piezoelectric tile. The electricity produced is stored in lead acid battery. This stored electricity is used to switch on the street lights automatically during night using Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor and the status of the street light and voltage is displayed on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD).
