Implementation of Sensorless Vector Control PMSM Drive for Electrical Vehicle Application

This paper discusses the a Sensor-less control method of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) to be applied for its application to an Electric Vehicle. A Sensorless velocity and position control technique for a sliding mode observer(SMO) based PMSM. Implementation of the different control loop will be done in order to perform simulations that prove the correct operation of electric machine under this kind of control.
