Choosing Electric Turbocompressor Drivers

The Dutch NAM, a joint venture of Esso and Shell, as the owner and operator of the giant Groningen gas field in the north of The Netherlands, is the largest producer of natural gas in the Netherlands. After 35 years of production, the reservoir pressure of this field has declined, and three underground gas storage (UGS) reservoirs were installed to cope with peak demand. This article reports on the injection compressor drivers.
