Magnetoresisitive Properties of Layered Structures Based on Fe and SiO2

Layered structures based on Fe and SiO prepared by layer-by-layer electron-beam condensation method are presented. It was demonstrated that all investigated systems are characterized by anisotropic magnetoresistance before and after annealing. The value of both longitudinal and transverse magnetoresistance in the magnetic field up to 600 mT does not exceed 0.1% at room temperature. It is associated with the reduction of magnetization in comparison with the magnetization of bulk materials.
