Operation Efficiency Evaluation of the Electrotechnical Complex of Branch Power Lines

The relevance of increasing the efficiency of organizing and conducting repair and restoration work of overhead power transmission lines during lightning storms is associated with the need to increase the uninterrupted operation of the electrotechnical complex of outgoing lines. This requires solving the problem of improving the efficiency of maintenance of the electrotechnical complex of outgoing lines by introducing means for diagnosing damage to its elements (switching to maintenance according to the technical condition of the facility). The criterion for the effectiveness of maintenance can be the value of the availability coefficient of the electrotechnical complex. The time dependences of the availability coefficient and the probabilities of detecting the electrotechnical complex of the outgoing lines in each of the considered states are obtained, which will make it possible to make decisions on technical activities aimed at preventing material losses during operation overhead power transmission lines with electrical loading. There is including decisions related to monitoring risk dynamics, the modernization of electrical equipment, the use of surge protection. It is shown that the transition to maintenance on the technical condition of the electrotechnical complex of branch power lines using devices of diagnosing damage will increase the availability coefficient by 11.7% due to an increase in the efficiency of maintenance.
