Temperature Monitoring of the Heating Resistors of the Railway Switches from Romanian Railway System

In this paper the temperature monitoring of the railway switches from Romanian railway system is presented. The system contains heating resistor, 6 k type thermocouple, SIEMENS PLC S7-1200 for processing information from thermocouple and autotransformer ATR8 for varying voltage and finally varying current trough heating resistor. The values of the parameters of the heating resistor system will be stored in PLC memory.
