Photovoltaic Panels Analysis Base On Simulink Tools

In this document a Simulink model for a photovoltaic array based on the components of Simulink library has been studied. The simulations performed in this document are based on the five-parameter model of a photovoltaic array. The equivalent scheme of a single diode is composed of a current source, a diode, a series resistance and a parallel resistance. The mathematical model of a photovoltaic panel (PV) was designed in MATLAB/Simulink environment, the I - V, and P - V graphics have been drawned. It was considered a real photovoltaic panel, namely the AFP 60-225, manufactured by Altius Solar. For representing the dependence between the level of solar irradiation, outside ambient temperature and the PV output values of the current, voltage and power is was used a PV cell existing in our laboratory.
