A Minimum-Latency All-to-All Broadcast Algorithm in Aerial Ad hoc Network with Directional Antennas

To ensure the strong real-time of information sharing, a low-delay algorithm for multiple-radio-per-platform Aerial Ad hoc Network (AANET) is proposed based on phased array antennas. In this algorithm introduces, virtual nodes and virtual links are used in topology generation firstly. Topology extraction and special links choosing are used to effectively reduce redundant transmission and delay of information sharing; Secondly, it is verified that the algorithm can reduce the latency by up to 36.4% and reduce the transmission redundancy to 0% through simulation; In addition, a algorithm based on direction selection is proposed for the variation of directional antenna beam direction, which can further reduce the delay of information sharing by simulation, thus further improve the network performance.
