A Intermittent Fault Injection Strategy for Electronic Equipment Health Status Recognition

In this paper, through the statistical analysis of the data of contact resistance changing with time when the circuit intermittent fault occurs, a model of intermittent fault is proposed, and an intermittent fault injector is built by the FPGA and high-speed programmable resistor, which use to inject the intermittent fault into the circuit, so as to carry out the research related to the intermittent fault. Then, the application of the intermittent fault injector is illustrated by an example of circuit health status recognition. In the example, intermittent fault injector is used to keep circuits in different health states, then FSV method is used to extract the feature of the fault, after training HSMM models, the health state of the circuit is identified. Finally, the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by comparative experiments.
