Optimal Operation Planning for Renewable Energy and CCHP in Smart City

This paper presents the problem of optimizing the annual operation, equipment configuration and capacity in a smart city with renewable energy and Combined Cooling Heating and Power (CCHP). The effectiveness of this study is demonstrated by comparing the case where renewable energy and CCHP are introduced and the case where only electricity purchased from the electric utility is used.
