Study on a Method of Estimations QoS for In-vehicle Network with SPQ of IEEE802.1

This paper studies a method of estimation QoS for in-vehicle Ethernet with SPQ. Although SPQ is the simplest and the most fundamental control, the estimation method of QoS is not yet clear for an in-vehicle Ethernet with multiple switches. The authors evaluate QoS provided by SPQ by simulation. By adapting the regression analysis to the results, the authors obtain an equation of estimating QoS and show its effectiveness.
