Design and Implementation of Asynchronous Serial Digital Data Transmission Decoder

This study developed an asynchronous serial digital data transmission decoder and used it as a lighting control system. People began using lighting equipment in the field of art, and later unified the specifications of lighting equipment by formulating the DMX512 transmission protocol. This decoder circuit and made them into chips using a HDL. The chips were subsequently used to read DMX512 data and then to store the data into memory. Users could use switches to select the data in the memory and output the data as 8-bit or serial pulse-width modulation data. Finally, the decoder circuits underwent IP modularization.
