Development of a Unified Determination of the Composition of Galvanic Electrolytes for Quick Process Control

Modern galvanic production occupies one of the leading places in our life. Electrolytic processes of applying metal coatings are used to protect the product from corrosion, protective and decorative finish, increase resistance to mechanical wear and surface hardness. Modern production seeks to automate and unify methods to facilitate decision-making in the process control, therefore, the paper presents the development of rapid determination of the composition of galvanic electrolytes by capillary electrophoresis in complex and aggressive environments. Capillary electrophoresis is a physical analysis method based on the migration of charged particles of analytes dissolved in an electrolyte solution inside the capillary under the influence of a constant electric field. separation optimization is a complex process in which several separation parameters can play a major role. The main factors that should be taken into account when developing separation methods are instrumental parameters, as well as electrolyte solution parameters. The paper proposes control schemes based on technical parameters. A procedure has been developed for determining anions and cations in galvanic electrolytes. The influence of aggressive media on the determination of sample components was studied. The rate of migration of particles of the analyte under the influence of an electric field with intensity was estimated, the speed of the electroosmotic flow was calculated, which depends on the electroosmotic mobility, which depends on the charge density on the inner wall of the capillary and the properties of the buffer solution. The time required for the substance to migrate to a distance from the end of the capillary into which the substance is introduced to the point of detection (effective capillary length) is determined. In the statistical processing of the data obtained during the quantitative determination of the cation-anion composition of real samples, the satisfactory convergence of the results is reflected within the recommended in analytical area.
