Water Distribution at Alteration of Flow Regimes with Pressure Flows for Irrigation

In the irrigation of agro-cultures, water distribution is one of the main specifics of a given applied technology. Water distribution is most often realized by means of distribution pipelines, feeding water quantities towards the irrigation equipment and elements by means of water divergency. Depending on the exploitation conditions, a flow is therein formed, with lengthwise-variable water quantities. This paper considers hydraulic aspects and conditions of the application of distribution pipelines in irrigation. Proposed are relationships for determination of the boundaries of the self-realizing flow regimes in the pipelines and their border water quantities necessary for dimensioning with a view of providing effective water distribution in irrigation.
