Novel CMOS Positive and Negative Voltage Mutual Conversion Circuits and Regulators

Novel positive and negative voltage mutual conversion circuits and regulators are proposed in this paper. A CMOS oscillator is designed to generate the pulse signals to drive the mutual conversion circuits. And each conversion circuit structure has two charging branches, which improves the conversion speed. Moreover, two novel low dropout regulators (LDOs) with simple structures and good temperature characteristics are also proposed in this paper. Simulation and experimental verifications based on the 0.25μm BCD process show that-5V and +5V stable output voltages are achieved with a +8 or-8V input voltage.
