Measurements and propagation models of HF ground-wave propagation over irregular terrain and HF sky-wave propagation

In this paper some aspects of the propagation in the HF band are analyzed. In particular the ground wave propagation is thoroughly investigated and sky wave models are marginally examined. Results are reported of a large measurement campaign for a specific geographic area and the results (in terms of received power and field strength) are correlated with the theoretical ones from the above methods.
