Structural Analysis of the BCC Lifting Frame

ITER Bottom Correction Coils (BCCs) as an important part of the ITER magnet system, is used to compensate for the error field of other coils due to non-axial symmetry. The BCC lifting frame will be used in the process of lifting the BCC to the temporary position in the pit, the BCC lifting frame also applies to Top Correction Coils (TCCs). Considering the load combination of BCC lifting frame according to the actual working conditions, the results of finite element analysis prove that the designed BCC lifting frame meet the stress and deformation evaluation standard.
