Ultrawideband Combined Monopole-Slot Radiator of Clavin Type

The ultrawideband monopole-slot radiator is constructed on the base of ultrawideband slot cut in an infinite perfectly conducting screen. To improve directive properties of the slot and to provide effective radiation at low frequencies two monopoles are used similarly to the Clavin radiator construction. Perfectly conducting cones connected to the screen with their bases are used as ultrawideband monopole structures. Optimization process of geometrical parameters of the monopoles is carried out to provide effective interaction between them and ultrawideaband slot. Directivity at different frequencies and time dependences of radiated fields at different angles are presented.
