Synthesis of Plane Waveguide Array Based on a Strict Solution of Analysis Problem

The synthesis problem of plane rectangular waveguide array has been solved using the strict solution of the respective direct electrodynamic problem. The integral equation system of Hallen type is used for determination of the current distribution in the waveguide's apertures. The optimal excitation coefficients in apertures are determined while minimization of functional presenting the mean-square deviation of the given and synthesized amplitude radiation pattern (RP). The additional terms in the functional are applied for the minimization of radiation in a near zone and limitation on the values of excitation coefficients. The computational results demonstrate the ability to synthesize the given amplitude RPs of various types.
