Reducing of the Environment Thermal Pollution by Introducing Energy Efficient Technologies in Engineering Systems

The operation of refrigeration machines, in addition to the production of cold as a result of the process of compressing the refrigerant in the compressor to the pressure and condensation temperature, is accompanied by the generation of a significant amount of heat, which is not useful in most existing refrigeration units and is released into the environment using air condensers or cooling towers. At the same time, the use of waste heat allows you to reduce operating costs by increasing the energy efficiency of engineering systems, while reducing thermal pollution of the environment and having a beneficial effect on the environmental situation as a whole. A study of technological equipment in an indoor ice arena with artificial ice cover was carried out to reduce operating costs by introducing energy efficient technologies without losing design characteristics. The “problem areas” have been identified where energy resources are not efficiently spent. A number of measures have been proposed to reduce energy consumption from heat and power supply organizations. The development, implementation and research of an improved system of partial utilization of the heat of condensation of heat engines, which increases the share of waste heat use, is carried out. The analysis of the results of the project implementation is carried out in relation to the indoor ice arena and its various consumers: air heating, a system for defrosting a snow-melting pit for machines for preparing an ice cover, a system for protecting soil from freezing.
