Monitoring and Control System for High-Voltage Switching Devices of an Electrical Substation

A variant of designing a monitoring and control system for high-voltage switching devices of an electrical substation using digital technologies is considered. A variant of execution of operational blocking of disconnectors and earthing switches is proposed to exclude incorrect actions of personnel during operational switching. A feature of the system is the use of inductive position sensors for switching devices instead of unreliable contacts. The use of a separate subnet, specialized controllers and digital exchange of information between them makes it possible to increase the information perfection of the system, increase information security, reduce the total length of the cable network of electromagnetic interlocking at the substation and reduce the cost of its operation. It is proposed to use standard information exchange protocols to integrate the blocking system into the substation ACS.
