Applying Case-Based Reasoning Method for Decision Making in IIoT System

The work addresses two urgent problems of automation: executing predictive and prescriptive data analytics and transforming structure of automation system in the contest of the Industrial Internet of Things. These two problems are discussed on the example of gas processing unit. First of all, the method of predictive and prescriptive analytics is suggested in order to determine the condition of the technological object and to come up with control recommendations and instructions for maintenance stuff. This is supposed to do by means of Case-Based Reasoning. Secondly, a short retrospective of gas processing unit control systems is given, and it is suggested to use the principles of the industrial Internet of Things concept to get rid of information losses during transporting data between the levels of the automation system.
