Cost Estimation Model for Machining of GTE Parts

The article proposes a sequence and a model for cost estimation of a gas turbine engine (GTE) parts machining. The proposed model takes into account technical parameters of the machined workpieces and organizational and technical conditions of production (site or workshop). The considered technical parameters of machined workpieces include their rigidity and tolerance for a geometric parameter. Organizational and technical conditions of production (site or workshop) include the cost of a machine hour of the used machines and equipment. The proposed model is used to calculate the machining costs for a “disk” type part of a gas turbine engine rotor. Two regression relationships were obtained to determine the following parameters: labor per part for the flat surface of a “disk” type part, depending on the linear dimension tolerance and the workpiece rigidity, as well as the cost of equipment machine-hour depending on its dimensions. The presented model and regression relationships can be used when performing technical and economic calculations, in which it is necessary to take into account the technical parameters of technological systems.
