Evaluation of the Efficiency of Daily Accumulation in Heat Supply of a Greenhouse and Vegetable Plant from Condensing Power Plants and Nuclear Power Plants

Long cold winters make vegetable growing a very risky business in most regions of the Russian Federation. New greenhouse projects usually include boiler houses. The share of fuel costs in modern greenhouses reaches 50-60% and more in the cost structure. In this case the use of low-grade heat from condensing power plants and nuclear power plants for heat supply to greenhouses is very promising. The article is devoted heat supply to the greenhouse is carried out on the basis of unregulated steam extraction from steam turbine units of condensing power plants and nuclear power plants. For daily heat storage it is suggested to use an under-greenhouse accumulator. Air circulates through air ducts immersed in the under-greenhouse accumulator due to natural circulation. Smoothing the unevenness of the electrical load graph, the greenhouse with the under-greenhouse accumulator acts as a consumer-regulator.
