Multi-functional circuit using two Current Feedback Operational Amplifiers

This research proposes a newly discovered Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) based multifunctional circuit. This paper presents a new Single Resistance Controlled Oscillator (SRCO) and from the same configuration a High Pass Filter (HPF) and Band Pass Filter (BPF) have been implemented. The oscillating frequency of the proposed oscillator can be controlled using a single resistance only. The circuit uses two CFOAs, three resistors and two capacitors (one grounded and one virtually grounded). Commercial AD844 IC has been used to verify the workability of the circuit. Also, sensitivity analysis has been carried out for the circuit which directly indicates the proper functionality of the proposed configuration in practical circuits.
