Azimuthal Six-Channel Retrodirective Metagrating

This communication presents a novel azimuthal six-channel retrodirective metagrating (MG). The designed MG employs the planar hexagonal unitcell to ensure retrodirective channels at every 60° interval in the azimuth direction. The efficiency of the MG can be optimized by adjusting the length and height of the unitcell, resulting in a low-profile MG. The characteristics of MGs operating at elevation angles of θ
