A Computer Software SPSS Study on the Effect of Taste Preference on Anxiety of Preschool Children

At present, the mental health of preschool children in China is a focus of social attention. Anxiety is one of the common negative emotions in children's mental health. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of taste preference on preschool children's anxiety by computer software SPSS. Based on Spence preschool children anxiety scale, 312 preschool children aged 3-6 in Chongqing were randomly selected as the subjects of this study, and their parents' taste preference and anxiety were investigated. The results showed that there was a significant difference between taste preference and anxiety of preschool children. There are 129 people who prefer sweet taste, accounting for 41.34% of the total; 59 people who prefer spicy taste, accounting for 18.91% of the total; 27 people who prefer sour taste, accounting for 8.65% of the total; 19 people who prefer salty taste, accounting for 6.10% of the total; 78 people who do not have obvious taste preference, accounting for 25% of the total. There are 147 children with anxiety, accounting for 47.1% of the total sample. =41.141, P<; 0.05). Conclusion: taste preference may affect the anxiety of preschool children.
