An Integrated and Cohesive Methodology - Smart Manufacturing Service

Smart manufacturing systems on manufacturing devices connected to manufacturing equipment are efficiently implemented. This is a challenge and is extremely beneficial in encouraging the development of a smart plant so that all manufacturing equipment are connected, plug-and-play and accessible via the network. Cloud production is a significant or to offer highly customized services to manufacturing companies on the Internet. This paper explores the promotion for successful services-oriented undertakings of cloud manufacturing systems. In order to deal with this issue, this program provides a cloud-based pluggable production process through the use of cloud computing, cutting edge computing and restful web services. The production services can be produced in the form of a pluggable application module (PAM) by using a two-layer service mechanism.The framework proposed enables engineers to deploy selected cloud PAMs to effectively target edge devices and to run and manage the plugged PAMs over the remote cloud platform using Web-based GUIs in order to facilitate smart management on target manufacturing equipment. Enhanced manufacturing-network visibility, knowledge exchange, alignment and flexibility of production processes and informed decision-taking-are key elements of the new program, such that development output is plan-based.
