Problems of Exploitation of the DVB-T2 Transmitters Standard in Russia

An algorithm of TV transmitter settings, a method of measuring and calibrating delays of information signal (IS) of terrestrial TV transmitters of DVB-T2 standard are developed, in which modulators have a spread of time delays of IS processing with possible spread of IS delays in communication channels from the Multiplexing Center to the transmitter exciter inputs. Implementation of the article's recommendations will make it possible to increase the reliability of SFN (Single Frequency Network) networks, certify the transmitters of terrestrial television of the first and second multiplexes, which are in operation in 85 regions of Russia.
