Analysis of the Biological Signal for Automated Diagnostics

Thanks to the rapid development of solutions in the field of medical technologies, electrophysiological measurements have become a popular and reliable diagnostic method. Increasing the computing power of processors, their miniaturization and the development of data transmission technologies ushered in a new era of signal processing and sensor production. Both of the above-mentioned phenomena have led to the development of more and more solutions that allow for real-time analysis of large volumes of biological data. The article presents the results of an analysis using statistical tools comparing data recorded by patients with various types of cardiological diseases recorded by the electrocardiological method. The data analyzed are included in the publicly available MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database. The analysis is also the first step in research that will allow to automate the diagnostic process of recognizing heart disease.
