Forecasting and Compensation of Random Drift of the Micromechanical Gyroscope as Sensors of Strapdown Inertial Navigation System

The results of an experimental study of the characteristics of the zero signal of a micromechanical gyroscope are presented. The statistical characteristics of the signal are set. The results of random drift prediction by means of approximation of the integrated signal of a micromechanical gyroscope are presented. The efficiency of complex signal processing of a group of sensors to reduce the random error component is shown. An algorithm for the operation of a pair of sensors to compensate for random drift over a short period of time is proposed.
