Threshold Performance Improvement of DOA Estimation using Pseudo-Noise Resampling and Toeplitz Covariance Matrix Approximation

The problem of threshold performance improvement of Direction of Arrival (DOA) estimation using estimator bank approach based on pseudo-noise resampling is considered. Toeplitz matrix approximation is used together with pseudo-noise resampling. The Bartlett beamforming and hypothesis testing are used to select the DOA estimates that are free from outliers. The simulation results confirm the improved performance of the presented approach.
