Abstract:

We design and fabricate silicon-nitride (SiN) microring-resonator-based sensor for detecting neuropeptide Y protein, commonly associated with human body stress. We experimentally show the extension of detection into nanomolar concentration levels in regular assay system with 0.1 nm/(μg/mL) of sensitivity.
