An Illustration of a novel All Dielectric 3D FSS based Band-Pass Filter

An all dielectric FSS based band-pass filter has been proposed which exhibits three transmission zeroes. AD410 and AD1000X have been integrated to conceive a composite structure which yields band-pass response in three consecutive bands namely 3.2-5.3 GHz, 6.7-9.1 GHz and 9.911.6 GHz respectively. High degree of angular stability (40°) and polarization insensitivity (60°) is registered by the 3D FSS unit cell. The band-pass characteristics have been investigated through parametric studies and simulations which are carried out in HFSS.
