An Experimental Study Of SEPIC Converter With BLDC Motor As Application

In many physical applications, a constant speed DC motor is required. For this purpose many researchers widely used a Brushless DC motor in recent years. In conventional BLDC motor PWM control based switching of inverter incorporates the continuous switching losses and reduce the power factor at the source side. Here, as a remedy an electronic commutation had been used to fed the inverter gate pulses, which reduces the losses and increases the power factor. This paper demonstrates the open loop experimental study of BLDC Motor driven through single-ended primary inductance converter (SEPIC) DC-DC converter with no load and on load condition.
