Influence of the Magnetic Field of the Overhang Parts of the Micromotor Winding on the Rotor Position Sensor

The problem of modeling the three-dimensional magnetic field of the overhang parts in a micromotor is considered. The location of the Hall sensor for the monitoring system of the rotor angular position is selected. It is noted that the magnetic field of the winding overhang parts distorts the excitation field, the magnitude of which determines the rotor angular position. To study the distortion of the excitation field, the finite element method is chosen. It is proposed to use formulations in terms of a scalar magnetic potential. To enable such a formulation of the problem, an approach is applied consisting of replacing the lumped winding coils with an equivalent magnetized medium. The parameters of the sinusoidal correction functions for different permanent magnet using in the rotor are determined.
