Diet-Menu Problem Modelling And Applications

A diet-menu problem is formulated, and its mathematical model is developed, which forms a daily nutrition menu plan in terms of dishes of the minimum cost satisfying constraints involved a standard diet problem as well as constraints on relations of the menu components. The model is linear Boolean. It is modified and extended in two directions, including a sequence of days diet-menu management, leading to a formulation of models in a form of linear integer programs. These models can be applied as in-household for planning healthy and beneficial nutrition plans, as well as in mass catering and food production.
