Stability-Oriented Resonant Parameter Design for CLLC-Type Resonant Dual Active Bridge Converter with Swarm Intelligence

The CLLC-type dual active bridge (DAB) converter, which is an isolated DC-DC converter, attracts increasing attention nowadays because of the popularity of the distributed generation. However, even if the CLLC-type DAB can maintain individual stability, it should also avoid the instability phenomenon when it is cascaded with other subsystems. This paper proposes a stability-oriented resonant parameter design approach for CLLC-type DAB converter with swarm intelligence. A design example is provided and experimentally verified.
