System Design of Intelligent Control on Molding Production Line and Product Reliability of Carbon Fiber Composite

In this paper, the intelligent control system of molding production line of carbon fiber composite is designed according to the analysis of composition, technology and manufacturing of the production line. Through study on the program of the control system, and design of software and hardware architecture, the intelligent control system will be developed, and product reliability system will be designed covering the whole period before, during, and after molding. The experimental results of processing automotive panels and aircraft ribs show that the product failure rate of the entire production line is less than 2%, and the operation is stable and reliable. The reliability system is consistent with the results of manual inspection of unqualified products. Quality monitoring before molding can remove 40%-45% of unqualified products, thus effectively saving labor costs and time, and solving the poor quality consistency of molded products.
