Simulation Research on the Operation Characteristics of a DC Microgrid

DC microgrid power supply can not only solve the problem of excessive line loss of the large power grid effectively, but also increase the reliability of power supply. It is economic and environmental, and it also helps to improve energy utilization efficiency. Different microgrid topologies of the DC microgrid system are summarized and compared and a monopole bus microgrid is simulated. The operation characteristics of the system with PV array and battery are analyzed which can provide guidelines for the design of a DC microgrid system.
