Mathematical Models and Control Methods of Infectious Diseases

In this paper, the application of mathematical models in infectious disease research is reviewed. This paper mainly introduces SIR infectious disease model, SIRS infectious disease model and some methods of infectious disease control based on model. An SIR model based on the “compartment” model and a SIRS model with standard incidence, vertical infection, continuous inoculation and treatment were established and analyzed. In this paper, the evolution of infectious diseases is illustrated and the effects of different strategies on the control of infectious diseases are compared.
