Design and implementation of an embedded system for data transfer in a car using CAN protocol

The purpose of this paper is to offer hardware and software implementation for data transfer in a car between some electronic parts using the Controller Area Network protocol. We were inspired by the new Ford Mondeo car and our intention was to build an equivalent embedded system to control mirrors, windows, seat positions, doors, and other components while this system is an open framework.
