Design of PMLSM CMAC-PID controller

PMLSM has the advantages of high reliability, high thrust and fast response, and is widely used in semiconductor and automation equipment. Compared with the traditional rotary motor, it can directly drive the load, thus greatly improving the efficiency. However, in the actual operation process of PMLSM, it is easy to be affected by nonlinear factors such as external load disturbance, parameter change and friction. In this paper, CMAC and PID are combined to form a composite controller. The traditional PID is used to realize the feedback control to ensure the stability of the system and to suppress the disturbance. The CMAC neural network controller is used to realize the feedforward control to ensure the control accuracy and response speed of the system. CMAC–PID controller combines the advantages of CMAC and PID, constituting a controller with strong adaptability and robustness.
