Deadbeat Predictive Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine with Extended Sliding-mode Disturbance Observer

Deadbeat current predictive control has a faster dynamic response. However, it is very sensitive to parameter mismatch. When the parameter mismatch, there will be a steadystate error between the command current and the actual current. And for digital control, there is a one-step delay problem, which will also cause the performance of the predictive control algorithm to decrease. In order to optimize the parameter mismatch and one-step delay problem, an improved deadbeat current predictive control algorithm is proposed. This combination of deadbeat current predictive control and extended sliding-mode disturbance observer can achieve current control without static error. Both simulation and experiment show the effectiveness of this method.
