Survivability Index and Evaluation Framework for Cyber Physical Power Systems

With the development of the CPPS system, assessing its survivability has become more and more important. This paper first analyzes the attack forms and the attack propagation process of a cyber-attack from a chronological perspective based on the interrelationship between the grid side and the information side. Then, survivability indexes are proposed based on the chronological characteristics of CPPS attack events. Finally, a framework for evaluating the survivability of CPPS systems under cyber-attack is proposed based on the three phases of cyber-attack and reliability indexes.
