Analysis of DG Access Impact on Adaptive Protection Suitability

Traditional fossil energy is drying up, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to meet economic and social development. As the access of distributed generation (DG) makes the traditional radial distribution network gradually evolve into the active distribution network with multi-terminal power supply, adaptive protection is affected. Based on the introduction of traditional adaptive current protection, and the 10. 5kV distribution network model connected to DG, this paper discusses the effects of DG access on adaptive current quickbreak protection, adaptive time-limited quick-break protection and adaptive overcurrent protection, thus provides a reference for adaptive protection when DG is connected to the distribution network.
