Smart Stick an IoT based Product Idea for Farmers and Senior Citizens

There have been many deaths of farmers due to several reasons like electric shocks, thunder strikes, snake bites, etc which can be very well avoided. The aim is to design the IoT based handheld "smart stick" for farmers, senior citizens and others who don't necessarily use smart mobiles phones and work in areas like farmlands, forests, etc. which are risk prone areas. This paper explains the "smart stick" architecture, block diagram, functionality and benefits. The main aim of this idea is to provide safety by providing alerts and emergency services to the farmers and seniors citizen who are not in accessible range or working remote areas.
