A Transparent Broadband Absorbing Metamaterial Based on ITO Structure

Aiming at some specific application scenarios, this paper proposes a broadband transparent absorbing metamaterial using transparent quartz glass and indium tin oxide (ITO) material. The transparent absorbing metamaterial is composed of a three-layer structure with the thickness of 4.2mm overall. The absorption of the transparent metamaterial reaches 90% in the frequency range from 6.2GHz to 19.3GHz, and it has good polarization insensitivity and wide-incident-angle stability. This structure can be used in electromagnetic shielding scenes for the purpose of light transmission.
